Mentorship forms the backbone of our organization. We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment where mentors provide not only education, support, and direction — but also hope and belonging.

By connecting girls with compassionate role models, we help them break cycles of silence and shame, discover their strengths, and step boldly into their purpose.

 Our STEM Summer Enrichment Program equips girls with the knowledge and skills to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. Through interactive workshops, hands-on experiments, and mentorship from STEM professionals, participants strengthen problem-solving abilities, boost academic readiness, and develop the confidence to pursue high-demand fields. This program opens doors to future opportunities and inspires each girl to see herself as a leader and innovator. 

 Maintaining a consistent bond between girls and their incarcerated mothers is important to our mission. Research shows that regular parent–child contact can ease trauma, reduce feelings of abandonment, and even support a mother’s success upon reentry. But for many families, visiting isn’t simple—correctional facilities are often hours away, and travel costs put an additional burden on already struggling households. To remove this barrier, Beauty Marks for Girls provides gas cards to help families travel to correctional facilities.
